Cate Fulkerson Principal at Points North Strategies LLC With over 30 years’ experience as a leader and CEO in the nonprofit sector, Cate leverages her education in Public Administration, CMCA, EBP, and professional experience to expertly guide clients in matters related to board governance and policy development. In addition, she provides comprehensive strategic planning, community survey services, meeting facilitation, board training, and leadership development with an emphasis on positive and strengths-based leadership. For the largest community association in Virginia, Reston Association, Cate advised the board on matters related to strategic planning; board leadership, conduct, role and effectiveness; committee structure; corporate operations; and, CEO performance. Cate also established and implemented a leadership training program for new board members and committee chairs. Cate holds a CMCA designation, a B.A. degree from Washington College and a Master of Public Administration from George Mason University. She is a member of Board Source, the Community Associations Institute – serving on the WMCCAI Education and C&E Committees, and the Business Women’s Giving Circle at the Community Foundation of Northern Virginia. She also serves as the President of her 52-unit HOA in Reston, VA.

Coordinator, Wayne Hosking Vice President at Construction Systems Group, Inc. Wayne Hosking has more than 25 years-experience in the engineering and construction field. His work involves the coordination of engineering projects from predesign through construction and final acceptance. His practice includes an array of commercial development, repositioning, preservation and capital maintenance projects. In this role Mr. Hosking maintains a strong communication link between his clientele, his staff, design team and project engineers. Prior to joining CSG, Mr. Hosking served as a Vice President of The Allied Defense Group, Inc. where he ran the corporate strategy and merger and acquisition shop for this publicly traded holding company. Mr. Hosking held this position until finalizing the sales of each of the company’s globally distributed assets. Prior to joining The Allied Defense Group, Mr. Hosking worked for two different engineering and construction firms. His engineering and construction work included commercial development and infrastructure projects as well as industrial, power, and natural resources.
