Christa Brady Vice President at USI Insurance Services Christa has 18 years of experience in the Community Association industry. She has been the Vice President for the Community Association Practice of USI Insurance Services since December 2019. Prior to joining USI, she spent 14 years as an Executive Manager within the community association industry. With an extensive background in working with Boards of Directors of condominiums and cooperatives, Christa possesses a very select skill set and expertise in developing comprehensive insurance and risk management programs designed to meet the unique needs of community associations. She holds a Property & Casualty insurance license for DC, Virginia, Maryland, and Delaware. Ruth Harlan Carroll Vista Community Association
Ruth Harlan Carroll Vista Community Association Born and raised in Maryland, after living in Colorado and Alberta, Canada she returned to Maryland. In 2000 Ruth retired from a career in communications which spanned thirty years and multiple mergers and acquisitions including C&P Telephone Company, American Bell, AT&T. In 2004, Mike and Ruth moved from their eight-acre Carroll County “farmette” to the newly developed community Carroll Vista in Taneytown, MD. With her newly found spare time, free from grass cutting and landscaping, Ruth became involved with community governance. Ruth first became involved with Chesapeake Chapter of CAI as a Committee member, subsequently serviing on the Board of Directors and ultimately served as President of the Chapter. At the same time, she served as President of her own community , Carroll Vista, as Board President.
Tom Willis Association Bridge
Tom Willis Association Bridge Thomas L. Willis, PCAM, has over 30 years of community association management experience. Tom relaunched Association Bridge as his full time venture in 2018 to fulfill his professional mission to do all he can to share the lessons learned through the years, helping community association volunteer leaders and the professionals who serve them find fulfillment in their work and make raving fans of their community members and clients. Tom has authored several articles in Common Ground and Community Manager (CAI National periodicals), and for periodicals published by several local CAI chapters. He speaks frequently on industry topics around the country, is an instructor of CAI’s Board Leadership Development Workshop, and is on CAI National’s Professional Management Program Faculty as an M-100 instructor. He served the Washington Metro Chapter of CAI as a committee chair, council chair and board member. For his efforts, that chapter has given him a number of awards, including Educator of the Year four times. He was elected to the WMCCAI Hall of Fame in 2014.
